Who are we?
The business was started 15 years ago in South Africa, trading as Edu Babe. Because of its growing success and the high levels of client satisfaction, the first franchise branch was opened in March 1999. Nellie Slater developed the business into a national franchise system and has brought her expertise into Canada as she understands families and their needs as she is a mother of three children.

Our services
Nannies Galore pre-screens candidates that we source. We understand a families concern and thus our candidates are carefully selected, screened, reference checked, criminal record checked as well as trained in first aid and CPR or basic cleaning.
We provide an employers guide and employment agreement as part of our services to new employers. We stay supportive in the process of finding the correct nanny and our support continues well after the placement of the successful candidate. Nannies Galore also places housekeepers and Office Cleaners on a permanent basis. The same services apply as above but their training involves cleaning, laundry and household duties / Office cleaning.

Training is available for specialized services such as gluten free cooking, allergen free cooking (created for children with Autism or other special needs) and cooking that contains less sugar suitable for children with ADHD.
